MacUser: Macs declared not “appropriate technology” for schools
Once again the awful “students need to be using the computers they will see in the real world” argument is trotted out by a hotshot high school IT director looking to flex his muscle. I notice that the same argument is never applied to labs in which many of the students hope to go into science or computer science, or else they’d be full of Linux PCs. I wonder why that is.
